How
do I play MP3 sound files from this page?
|
|
We
have installed an auto player that works with most newer web browsers
for our sound files. It will play our MP3 sound clips automatically
when you click on the small player. Usually a small player control similar
to a tape deck will appear.
|
|
Why
do sound clips stop playing or sound choppy?
|
|
Because
they are higher quality, MP3 clips are large files, and therefore will
only stream (start playing immediately) on faster connections. If a
sound clip starts playing and then stops or sounds choppy, use your
player's (or browser's) playback controls to pause playback until the
clip has finished downloading to your computer, then resume playback.
|
|
What
if the auto player doesn't work?
|
We
have also made it possible for you to download the MP3 file to your
hard drive. Once the sound file is downloaded to your computer (remember
where you saved it) use an MP3 player to listen to it. A variety of
MP3 players are available at sites such as http://www.shareware.com.
We can recommend the Real player to get you going. Download the free
player for Mac or PC at http://www.real.com.
After you download and install a player, be sure to read the program's
instructions to learn how to configure it to work with your browser
and play sound clips automatically.
